Food Co-op of Utah

Last year my sister blogged about getting food from a co-op, and how fresh the produce was for such an amazing price.  I was jealous and thought this type of thing only happened in Phoenix, Arizona.  Well, I was wrong.  I learned that Salt Lake has a co-op from Slave to Save, so I decided to give it a try.

On Saturday I picked up my order from the Food Co-op of Utah, and this is what I got for $26:

1 lb. diced beef stew meat
2 lbs. chicken breast
1 lb. cashews
1 lb. almonds
1 lb. salted sunflower seeds
1 lb. dried pineapple chunks
1 loaf artisan wheat bread
1 pkg. mushrooms
1 bunch green onions
1 red leaf lettuce
2 artichokes
1 lb. rice
4 kiki
3 apples
3 oranges

I thought it was a pretty good deal, and will plan on signing up next month also.
